The Mind Kind Project

We host the Mind Kind projects men’s wellness group every other Tuesday. We strongly believe in their messages of removing the stigma around discussing mental health and seeking assistance with it.

In England, around one in eight men has a common mental health problem such as depression, anxiety, panic disorder or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In 2017, nearly 6000 suicides were recorded in Great Britain. Of these, 75% were men. Suicide is the largest cause of death for men under 50. If you think someone you know is struggling with their mental health let them know you’re there to listen to them without judgement. Someone who is experiencing mental health problems may find it hard to reach out, so try to keep in touch. A text message or a phone call could make a big difference.

If you yourself need assistance, come along, sessions are free and it helps to know you’re not alone.

Dudley voices For Choice

Asgard has always been a community space we want to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible. Large portions of our community are autistic or present somewhere on the autistic spectrum, as such we wanted to ensure our venue was as comfortable for them as possible.

In addition to this we are partnering with Dudley Voices for Choice to provide specific autism friendly sessions.

Community Hub

Asgard was founded with community at its heart, to be inclusive and get everyone together through a shared love of games. We are proud to host a number of community groups and offer opportunities for those in our community to meet and interact in a safe comfortable environment.
